Cinnamon Apple Rings

Cinnamon Apple Rings

Ingredients
  • 4 large apples
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 very ripe banana
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup + oil for deep frying
  • for sugar topping
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1tsp cinnamon powder or to taste
Methods Of Cooking:
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Set aside. In a small bowl combine the egg and milk. In a third dish, make your cinnamon-sugar topping by combining the sugar and cinnamon. Set that aside too. Next, slice the apples into ¼-inch thick slices, and use cutters to make rings out of each slice. Discard the center circles containing the apple core. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Combine the contents of the first and second dishes. Mash the ripe banana and mix with it well. This will be your batter. Dip the apple rings in and out of the batter one at a time.Fry the rings in small batches till they are golden in both sides. Once the rings are golden and crispy, drain on paper towel. You can quickly roll them on cinnamon sugar topping or sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on the rings. Serve warm. Enjoy delicious yummy cinnamon apple rings.

March 17th St ' Patrick's Day and surely Green is now the color of the day, with some Irish Blessings saying May joy and peace surround you, contentment latch your door, and happiness be with you now and bless you evermore...let  me share with you all a delicious finger licking green dip. It's quick to make and awesome creamy to have with chips nachos or you may even use it as a bread spread. Enjoy delicious green dip and wish you all HAPPY ST. PATRICK"S DAY. Enjoy green.



Green Dip

Ingredients
  • 1 cumber cut into dices with skin
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion cubed
  • 6 to 8 garlic clove
  • 1 small boiled potato
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped mint and cilantro leaves
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp fresh cream
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice or to tatse
  • 2 pinch sugar
  • to taste black salt and pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chilly flakes to garnish
Cooking Directions
  1. Heat oil in a pan add garlic, onion, green bell pepper, cucumber and potato with black salt, pepper and sugar and saute for a minute or two. Then cool the mixture and put it in a blender with butter, finely chopped mint and cilantro, thyme. Blend till the mixture is very smooth. Then add lemon juice and fresh cream and mix well. Garnish the dip with chilly flakes and serve with nachos or chips.

Hope you and your beloved will enjoy this tangy spicy delicious drink Bloody Mary Mocktail.


Bloody Mary Mocktail

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup tomato juice
  • 1 tsp tobaso sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger juice
  • 1/4 tsp mustard sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sugar (optional)
  • 1 tbsp roasted poppy seeds
  • 1 pinch black salt
  • 1 pint club soda
Cooking Directions
  1. Take tomato juice, ginger juice, tobasco sauce, mustard sauce, lemon juice, sugar and black salt. Mix well. Strain the mixture.Now take the mixture in a shaker and add chilled club soda. Give one good shake. Rim the serving glass with toasted poppy seed. Add the chilled hot and spicy Bloody Mary mocktail. Garnish with lemon rind. Today I am sharing a very delicious soup recipe with you all Prawn Onion Tomato Soup. A delicious comfy soup perfect for the season. I am sure you all will love it.


Prawn Onion Tomato Soup

Ingredients
  • 2 fresh tomato puree
  • 1 big onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 10 to 12 small prawn
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp cheese spread
  • 1 tsp dry basil or fresh
  • 2 cups chicken stock/ vegetable stock/ water
  • 1 tsp cornflour (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Directions
  1. Take pan and the add butter and onion saute till transparent. Then add prawns stir a little. Then add tomato puree and green peas. Mix well. Then add chicken stock or whatever you are using. Let it come to boil. If you want the consistency bit thick then add cornflour with water and add to the soup. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Then add cheese spread, fresh or dried basil. Cook for another 1 minute. Adjust seasoning. Put off the flame. Serve warm Prawn Onion Tomato Soup with bread croutons.

Happy Halloween With Pumpkin Mushroom Soup

Ingredients
  • 1 kg Pumpkin
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 tsp rosemary powder
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 10 button mushroom cut into halves
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tomato garlic sauce
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 to 4 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 tsp dry roasted coarsely grind cumin powder
  • 2 cube grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
  • to taste salt and pepper
Cooking Directions
  1. Take the flesh of pumpkin rub it with rosemary and mashed garlic drizzle olive oil and roast in oven till bit tender. Cool down and then make a smooth puree. Heat butter in pan and place the mushroom cook over high heat until the moisture is cooked off. Add the tomato garlic sauce toss and keep aside. Take another sauce pan add olive oil then chopped onion. fry till translucent. Add the pumpkin puree. Stir for 2 minutes.
  2. Add chicken stock. Let it come to boil. Then simmer it for 10 to 12 minutes in low heat. Now add grated cheese. Adjust seasoning. Mix well. Then add fresh cream, cook for another one minute. Put off the flame. Sprinkle coarsely ground cumin powder. Mix the cooked mushroom in it. Sprinkle little lemon juice if needed. You can do it another way also ladle the soup in a bowl and then place the mushroom in one side as garnish. Enjoy a happy Halloween with hot Pumpkin Mushroom yummy soup.

This would be what I would love to tell my Dad if he is with me today but long before a bit too early he left for the world next. So today remembering him not with tears but with smile coz  Dad's don't love to see their princess in watery eyes. Wishing all lovely Dad's a very happy and wonderful Father's Day. My father was a foodie he loves any and every kind of food that is delicious. So today sharing a delicious chicken dish Chicken in Sweet Lime Sauce With pan grilled potato....which if he was dinning withe me today would have shared. I am sure you all will love it too.



Chicken in Sweet Lime Sauce With Pan Grilled Potatoes

Ingredients
  • 4 chicken leg pieces
  • 1 tomato
  • 6 to 8 garlic clove
  • 1 onion cut into rings
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp grated cheese
  • 9 to 10 baby potatoes boiled
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 4 to 6 tbsp sweet lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tsp tomato garlic sauce
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
Cooking Directions
  1. Take tomato, garlic, paprika powder, sugar, salt and pepper into your blender. Make a fine smooth paste. Now add one table spoon butter in a skillet. Add the onion rings and slightly fry them then add the tomato garlic mixture. Stir for a minute or two then add the chicken leg pieces. Stir and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Then add the stock and cover and cook in medium flame till the chicken is well cooked. Now add grated cheese. Mix and cook until the cheese get melted. Now add sweet lime juice and lemon juice. Mix and put off the flame.
  2. Heat butter in a pan add boiled baby potatoes and sprinkle little tomato garlic sauce and seasoning if needed. Now fry them for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve chicken with grilled potatoes  and with your favorite bread roll.
